Instructions

Meat Sauce

  2. Add the chopped garlic, and when fragrant, add the onions.
  3. When the onions have softened, add the ground beef and sautee until the beef has browned well.

  5. Season with Black pepper and Ketchup depending on how sweet you want it.
  6. Lower the heat and let simmer covered for at least 30 minutes.

Besciamella

  1. Melt the butter in a pan then add the flour.
  2. Stir well until the flour cooks and no longer looks raw.
  3. Add warm Milk, a little at first while stirring so that you don’t get lumps.
  4. Keep adding milk until it’s all incorporated and free of lumps.
  5. Still stirring, bring the whole mixture to a boil so that it fully thickens.
  6. Add nutmeg and salt to taste.

Finishing the Dish

  1. Cook the Lasagna Noodles in salted water.
  2. In a baking dish, start with a thin layer of meat sauce, then add a layer of the Besciamella.
  3. Add a layer of noodles.
  4. Repeat the layers two more times and finish with a layer of meat sauce.
  5. Sprinkle parmesan on top.
  6. Place in a 375F oven for 30 minutes or until the top is browned and bubbly.
